Works councils are increasingly leveraging it in the context of operational changes. But how far does this right of co-determination extend? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Can works councils demand new hires? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can they enforce minimum staffing levels to protect employees' health \u2013 or, conversely, prevent operational changes? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How far does the right of co-determination under Section 87 (1) No. 7 BetrVG go when it comes to workplace reintegration management? <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I provide answers to these and other questions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/beck-online.beck.de\/Bcid\/Y-400-W-BECKOGK-G-BETRVG-P-87-Gl-H\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BeckOGK<\/a>, which is now available online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The right of co-determination on occupational health and safety (Section 87 (1) No. 7 BetrVG) is in vogue.
